Membership Requirements:
- Prospective members must demonstrate a genuine interest in technology and a commitment to contributing positively to our community ;
- Membership applications are subject to approval by the executive board or the board of directors. TechUp reserves the right to refuse membership to individuals whose values or actions are incompatible with our organization's objectives ;
- A member must be of legal age and reside in a country that is not subject to sanctions from Europe or France.

Responsibilities of Members:
- Members are expected to actively participate in TechUp events, initiatives, and discussions, contributing their expertise and insights to enrich the community.
- Respect for fellow members, regardless of differences in opinion or background, is paramount. Discriminatory behavior, harassment, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the association.

Failure to comply with the terms of use, including but not limited to violating event guidelines, engaging in disruptive behavior, or breaching confidentiality agreements, may lead to sanctions determined by the executive board or the board of directors. Sanctions may include temporary suspension of membership privileges, expulsion from TechUp events, or permanent expulsion from the association.

TechUp reserves the right to enforce sanctions deemed appropriate based on the severity of the violation and its impact on the community. Decisions regarding sanctions will be made in accordance with our internal regulations and with the best interests of the association in mind.

We collect various types of data necessary for the functioning of TechUp, including legal names, gender, postal addresses, email addresses, and other pertinent details essential for managing memberships, facilitating communication, and organizing events.

All data collected by TechUp Network/TechUp and handled by partners are securely stored within our intranet platform, TechUp Connect, accessible to authorized members at connect.tech-up.org. Alternatively, members can request access to their data by contacting our Data Protection Officer (DPO) directly.
